MEET DR. NEWTON

About Dr. Newton

Dr. Newton has been serving the Upper Cumberland region for over 25 years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Murray State University, in Murray Kentucky. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Newton grew up in West Tennessee, and he moved to Crossville in November of 1996, where he then married his wife, Natasha, in October of 1998. He has two children, Taylor and Tanner, who were born and raised and also attended school in Crossville.


When Dr. Newton was in undergraduate school in the late 1980s, he suffered from a left knee injury while playing football at Murray State. He suffered complications from this injury such as recurring lower back pain and muscle spasms. After several adjustments, his problems were resolved and his daily function was fully restored. Dr. Newton states, “The improvement and changes in my body function and daily routine helped me to choose a career in chiropractic to be able to help others in need.”

Dr. Newton’s vision statement: “It is my belief that if given the opportunity and push in the right

direction, the body has the best chance to heal itself. This is just one of the many wonderful

things that chiropractic care can deliver for all types of individuals.”

Some other facts about Dr. Newton:

-He is a member of the Tennessee chiropractic Association

- Loves a good game of golf

- He always takes the opportunity to support local schools and children’s sports leagues, and other activities throughout our wonderful county

- He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at Murray State University during his undergrad years

- Doc has a passion for football, he was the captain of his high school football team in 1985 at Lake County high school in West Tennessee. This team went on to win the single A state championship that year

- Doc also loves the UT Volunteers, and you’ll always catch him cheering them on with his family on

- Saturdays in the fall
